Painting Process

Veronica is delving into a mixed media technique that infuses her artwork with depth and texture through multiple layers. She starts with a layer of modeling paste to establish unique textures. For her second layer, she applies high fluid inks and acrylics, leading to vibrant, abstract interpretations. To add a sensorial and more unique way to her creations, she incorporates collage elements such as dried flowers and snippets of old book pages. She enhances the design with spray paint, stencils, and bold lines. The acrylic layer helps to define the first shapes, shadows, and highlights, while the final and most crucial application of oil colors is the realistic part of the whole painting.
